Pól Brennan Officially Served with Deportation Papers

Pol was served with his deportation papers yesterday and can be deported at any time now! We are urging all his friends and supporters to keep the pressure on – it is having an effect. Please pass this on to friends and ask that they use the numbers below to express their genuine disgust and anger that Pol Brennan is being deported. We will keep you informed of developments as we hear them.
We have been informed that the campaign is working in that the present administration are acknowledging they are receiving hundreds of calls, but they have still chosen the path of punishing Pol and his family for past political acts (over 30 years ago) and they are still intent at deporting him.
We ask that people become more involved in ceasing the attacks by ongoing administrations against former Irish political prisoners – some, who like Pol, made their way to the US to start new lives decades ago. This must stop! Different administrations have targeted these former political activists for deportation approximately one every few years, Please help and support those who still reside in the US and will now, with the deportation of Pol, will be waiting for the “Knock on the door”.
Pol is not deported yet and we will fight for him until he is allowed to live in the land he has called home for over 25 years and can live free from harassment and persecution. Others who like Pol were involved in a political struggle against oppression in Ireland have that right – ” WHY NOT POL!” And of the other former political activists who came to the land of the free to start new lives and created new families, why are they forever under the cloud of harassment and persecution knowing that something very simple, such as what happened to Pol, will lead to their being deported and their families destroyed!
