BC Senator Casey Letter

Good Afternoon,

I would like to advise you of a conversation I had with Ned McGinley late last week on the Boston College issue among other things. Ned confirmed to me that it is Senator Casey’s intention to write a letter to Secretary of State Clinton asking for action in getting the subpoenas against BC withdrawn by the Brits. It is due to the constant attention of his aide Chloe Bowser that this issue has remained in the forefront. Ned did urge that Irish activists including all Hibernians contact Senator Casey’s office and continue to let him know how important this matter is particularly given the fact that there will be a court hearing soon on this matter and that we need the full weight of as many members of Congress as possible to bring this to Secretary of State Clinton’s attention.

We are asking that you please prepare an e-mail to your e-mail lists asking everyone to contact Senator Casey at his toll free number. It is great he has a toll free number – I don’t know of any other Senator that has this for his constituents.
It is Toll Free: (866) 802-2833

Also, please contact Chloe Bowser and thank her for her hard work and ask her for a copy of the letter as soon as it is sent.

I’m in the process of getting information to send to Congressman Doyle and Congressman Murphy so hopefully they will do letters. If you need any other information, please let me know.
