Recent New Jersey Chapter Meeting

Over thirty people attended the recent monthly meeting of the New Jersey 5th & 9th Congressional chapter of the IAUC to hear national President, Peter Kissel, discuss his thoughts on the effect of Brexit on Northern Ireland and the border that divides the island of Ireland. Peter stressed the border issues of commerce, (possible checkpoints for tariffs on goods crossing the border); commuters, (30,000 daily); and consciousness (psychological impact of the return to a hard border). The New Jersey chapter has been meeting for over 20 years and having Mr. Kissel as the guest speaker made for an incredible evening.

The IAUC runs a yearly raffle sweepstakes as their main fundraiser and the event takes place at the April meeting of the 5th & 9th chapter. This year’s winner is John Kennedy, an active longtime local member. Congratulations!
