New Visions for Peace with Justice:

This year's annual convention will be held at the Embassy Suites in Walnut Creek, California, from October 3 through the 5th.

Confirmed Speakers include: Seán Mitchell, Forbairt Feirste; Mark Thompson, Relatives for Justice; and a representative from Sinn Féin who is active on the Policing issue.  This year's convention will also feature representatives of Thar Saile and the largest gathering of "deportees" ever.  Geraldine Finucane has also been invited to attend; either she or a member of the Finucane family will attend.

Room reservations must be made by September 3rd (or until group block is sold out) in order to secure the discounted rate of $129 per night. If you'd like to register and pay for the conference you can do that here.  Please note: There will be an additional charge added to those registrations paid for at the door.  It is best to pre-pay online (choice of debit or credit or checking account) to take advantage of the lower rates. If you'd prefer to download a registration form and mail it in with a check, you will find the form on our Resources page.

For those flying in for the conference, be sure to use Oakland airport
if possible (rather than San Francisco). Oakland is much closer to
Walnut Creek and you may then take the BART directly to the hotel.
Travel to and from SFO will be more costly and time consuming.
